$10,000 Half Court Shot

A lot of controversy has been stirred up over a recent event. Vincent Swope, a freshman at University of Kentucky, rightfully earned a prize of 10 grand during a Kroger half-time promotion during a basketball game. Kroger didn't expect him to make the shot so they wouldn't back up their word, some also say Vincent was over the line when he took his shot. However, fellow students of Vincent had a protest for his cause and Kroger finally agreed to pay up. A video replay of the shot can be seen below.

2012 Resolutions

2011 was a good year, but it flew by fast. It had its ups and downs but overall I'm happy with how it all turned out and ready to do it all again. In 2012 I plan to get better connected with people I've lost contact with and get out to more skating events and help bring the East Coast scene back to where it was just a few years ago. Skating on the east coast has gone to the pits, us east-coasters are barely connected and have almost zero sources of media to get us out there. I plan to help out with this aspect by taking my Youtube channel "EastCoastWonderboys" to the next level.

The East Coast Wonderboys are going to grow huge connect with people from all over the east coast, such as Comet Skateboards rider Anthony Flis. I plan for 2012 to be a big year, I'm going to make some good decisions and bad ones and before it's over some big things will happen, good and bad. I'm ready for them though and going to take them as they come and live with no regrets as always. Happy New Year.
